The studio is a former horse stable and stands on an terrain of an old farm. This part of Amsterdam used to belong to Oostzaan and consisted of mostly farmers. The land has also an authentic barn and old haystack surrounded by (fish) water. The total site dates from circa 1890. The studio has a private entrance via a path that runs along the property. There is free access to a large terrace to the rear with views over the water.
The studio is on the ground where we live but it is completely autonomous with lots of privacy. The studio has a double bed and 1 sleeping couch, a bathroom/toilet and a kitchen with fridge, Nespresso coffee and gas stove. Free WiFi and television.

Reviews of this property
We enjoyed a perfect weekend in Amsterdam and this appartment. The studio has really nice interior, clean and cosy, equipped with anything we needed. Delicious coffee, WLAN, HiFi-Music, a cosy bed, some beer, wine and food for breakfast...and a perfect view from the breakfast-table onto a little lake or likewise.
The bicycles allowed us to see lots of amsterdam. It's just a stone's throw to the ferry (7 min. across the river to the centre - the ferry-ride is an attraction itself. It's also fun to cruise through Amsterdam north district where the studio is located. Edwin and wife are easy-going, nice people. Definately a reccommendation!
Dear Edwin, thank you very much for the warm welcome. It was very nice and comfortable to stay at your place. Take care!!
The Place is very beautiful and especially the view from the terrace.
We were very well treated by Edwin, with beer, wine and food in the fridge. Everything to cook, to wash... all provided. We even had foil paper to wrap our sandwiches for the day.
We recommend the place, it is not in the center of the city but the area is beautiful and peaceful, with buses and the ferry to reach the city centre and a Liddle close to the house.
The terrace of the studio is very nice, in front of the canal.
Thank yuo Edwin, yuo are a perfect and lovely host!
The house is very very nice. The location is pretty.
Excellent location. Perfect for a summer in the suburbs of Amsterdam. I really recommend Edwin as a host.
We had a very nice time at this cosy place. The hosts were really friendly and we had got everything we needed. It was great to use the bikes to get to the ferry and then to the city in a short time. We would definitely like to come back again!
Lovely place in a great neighborhood. We loved to be away from the city but still very close. The bus stop right in front of the house was great. Our host was very nice and made us feel welcome. Plus the apartment was stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. I would go back in a heartbeat. Loved it.
Edwin's place is great--it's very peaceful and really clean. I stayed at the accommodation for three nights and wished I could have stayed longer to use the bikes that he had available and to explore Amsterdam more. The kitchen and closeness to the bus stop really add to an already great place to stay. I would definitely stay at Edwin's place again.
