The area is very nice and quiet. There is a a nice pub across the road from us that has traditional Irish music Wednesdays and Saturdays.
There is also a large supermarket and some good restaurants nearby.
I am located near the Dublin City University, 20 minutes from the O2 arena, 20 mins the Croke Park DCU and 15 minutes to the airport.
Bus wise the 16A from the airport will take you to the end of my road. And there are plenty of buses into the Dublin centre which take about 20 minutes.
There are many places of interest in and around Dublin including many castles, museums, art galleries, stately homes, royal palaces, zoos, gardens and theme parks.

This room was totally the right decision for a short trip to Dublin. Margaret and Gordon welcomed us very lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. We had the possibility to use the kitchen, so everything was like you´re a part of the family.
Margaret and Gordon are very fantastic. They friendly and helped my doughter and me when we asked them something. The room was beautiful. We had felt like at home. Thanks a lot.
It has been very nice staying with Margaret ! Everything was exactly like it was described.
Margaret and her husband were very welcoming and warm hosts helping with everything.
It was very easy to get into the City or to the airport because the bus stop is very close to the flat.
Dublin is a very interesting and friendly city. The only thing is the weather
- very changeable, from one minute to the other ;)) - but there are lots of really nice cafes to stay while it is raining before the sun comes out again.
We stayed for four nights and felt absolutely welcomed. Our flight was a bit delayed and when we arrived (it was raining), Margaret was already looking for us, picking us up on the way to their house. The house is very nice and Margaret and Gordon provided us with great tips for our stay/travel in Dublin. It was a great stay! With Margaret and Gordon you won't find only a place to stay, but also a warm place to feel like home.
Margaret and Gordon where very lovely and helpful hosts.
We had nice talks at breakfast and they gave us helpful information about some nice places in Dublin. The room is lovely as well. We can definitely recommend them and would come back!

See you, Margaret !
Margaret and her husband are very polite and friendly. They help us every time. The house is very well situated between the centre of the city and the airport. Travel by bus is very easy. We hope come back and see you and the beautiful Irland again.
Both, Margaret and her husband, were super hospitable and helpful in every way. The room is very nice and furthermore you have easy access to the City Centre as well as the airport by bus. I'd really recommend staying at theirs, I had a lovely time :)
